A Flat City With Many Trees!
The LS 8 A-team has come up with some suggestions for students coming to Malmo in the future, particularly to St Petri Skola.

br /If school dinners become too much, there are 3 lovely cafes in the general vicinity. Picnic is exactly opposite the school on the other side of the road and serves a wonderful array of toasted sandwiches. The other two cafes, Mocassin and Cafe Eric are directly opposite one another a litte further up the road. Mocassin has mean coffee and cake, and Cafe Eric has some nice lunchtime delights.

br /If you're looking for some cheap beer, we've tracked down the best places around - Attaley is just off Melan Square and 'The Cheap Beer Place' (We don't know its real name) is just off the little square where all the touristy pubs are in a house called Saluhallen.

br /We also recommend going to Turning Torso and going to the boardwalk which is nearby, there are platforms to dive into the sea from. Go for it! You can also take a sauna and jump off the pier further along. Not for the faint hearted.

br /If you're looking for some sight-seeing, head to Lund: this very old city has lots of beautiful buildings, particularly the cathedral and the university. It only takes 15 minutes on the train from Central Station and has nice shops and places to eat, good for a day trip at the weekend.

br /Must-see: The Town Hall in the big square, St Petri Church (you can go in), and if you go to the basement under the courthouse next to the church you'll find the archaeological remains of old Malmo.
